Saving Asia Bibi. TV2000 launched a solidarity campaign
From this evening newscasts of all the editions of TV2000 will be marked with a logo bearing a picture of Asia Bibi, a Christian woman sentenced to death in Pakistan on charges of blasphemy. The woman, of course, had rejected pressure from his colleagues because he convert to Islam and had vigorously defended the reasons for their faith. Beaten and then imprisoned for over a year, was recently sentenced to death by a court in Punjab. In view of the passage of the case to the High Court is required in a large international mobilization in the name of religious freedom, in order to save life and restore freedom to this woman so brave and turn the spotlight of public opinion on the persecution which is faced by many around the world Christians because of their faith.
